I was raised as someone very committed to their work. I have walked into every job I've ever worked and made the absolute best of it and did more than was necessary sometimes to ease stress off of my bosses, fellow coworkers, and customers, such as voluntarily overtime, community service events, and building relationships with fellow businesses in the town. I worked at this small town restaurant, El Toro Viejo, in Flatonia TX, for almost a year, I made very strong relationships even to this day with my managers, bosses and coworkers, I helped with about everything from waiting, to many miscellaneous hand labor such as helping fix electrical or pipe problems, repairing tables and signs, and any other sort of problems that came up.
The restaurant closed in March of 2022, and I went out of my way as much as possible to help translate for my boss to close out a lot of the ongoing deals with businesses such as Coke a Cola, and helped close and moved out the owners in my free-time.
I would stay overtime in multiple circumstances, sometimes for days, and sometimes weeks just to help out when they were short-staffed or under a really busy week without any complaints. I genuinely enjoyed working with them.
