I worked at a Bent Creek Golf Village in the housekeeping department; however, my duties exceeded the title. I was part of the customer service industry for 6 ½ years. I was nominated as a customer service Ambassador during that time. I was responsible for providing customer service training to all employees. I understand throughout my time with this company how important it is for a company to provide excellent customer service to retain customers regardless of the service. I was also Safety Committee Secretary on property; my duties under this title also exceeded the title awarded. As well as the assumed duties in the housekeeping department, the majority responsibility of my employment was to record and maintain many files for housekeeping and the maintenance department as well as performed other clerical duties vital to maintain both departments on a daily basis. I also assisted in creating policy and procedures to be followed and upheld by all employees on the property.
I was voted to the treasurer position for the Grassy Fork Volunteer Fire Department effective on May 1, 2014 and still currently hold this position. Under this position, I am responsible for maintaining the finances of the department. This responsibility includes paying the departments bills for operation and balancing the checking account as well submission of a financial audit to the TN comptroller's office each fiscal year.
I have been employed with Check N Go (Axcess-financial) since January 5, 2015. I held a customer representative position for 2 years before being promoted to store manager of my current location. As store manager, I am responsible for the daily activities in the store as well as setting, planning, and meeting metric goals for my location. It is my responsibility to exhibit customer focus to understand their financial needs, build a relationship, and to anticipate my customer's needs and offer cross selling products we offer when applicable.I am accountable for processing loans and financial transactions within company policies and state/federal regulations. Also answering telephones and having face to face inquiries in relating to customer applications, requests, and payments. I also place sales calls, courtesy calls, and collection calls pertaining to customer accounts. I am also responsible for marketing for my location to company standards to grow business and promote the brand professionally; including the appearance of the store internally and externally. I also hand and count currency, cash, and coins to manage a cash drawer daily as well as cash deposits, moving cash securely from drawers to the safe as well as other cash handling requirements including bank pick ups and drop offs from Loomis. As a manager, I am responsible for making sure that payroll hours are maintained between myself and csr. My district operator is based out of Memphis and visits on a monthly basis. I am very capable of working and maintaining a high standard with little to no direct supervision.
