Completed the Remote Medical International EMT Wilderness Program. During this intense four week program we did over 500 patient assessments, were put through training scenarios that involved rescues of patients during the day and at night along with constant evaluation of treatment of patients and recognizing the signs and symptoms patients were presenting. This course also included clinical rotations at Skagit Valley Hospital to complete in clinic hours.
32 hour long course that covered the technical training of phlebotomy and lab work. The course also provided hours of hands on practice and supervision from trained professional staff. After completing the course I was state and nationally certified.
