My objective as an Elgin FFA officer is to not only excel the younger members into achieving the best they can, but also to pay close attention to my past two previous years of leadership experience I have gained from being an Elgin FFA officer. learning from the inspiration the president and other officers have provided for me, by becoming president of this chapter I will to provide that same encouragement to all members of the FFA, not only in our chapter but throughout the organization as a whole. I want to make the Elgin FFA Chapter a role model throughout the state by having the most enthusiastic and well-rounded members.

This chapter has given me many amazing opportunities as to which could never be achieved by one person, such as: being accepted into the Future Ag. Ed. Academy, being accepted on a full $1,000 scholarship to attend the Washington Leadership Conference (WLC) in Washington D.C., and placed top three in my state proficiency (Diversified Crop Production) for the second consecutive year. These are only a few of the many camps and activities I will be attending through the FFA this summer. Through my job experiences I have learned many different aspects of agriculture such as learning different types of feed and grains at one and how to maintain the health of animals and run a successful farm at the other my jobs have worked with my schedule and allowed me to obtain these great achievements.
This was my second opportunity to serve as an Elgin FFA officer. This was the time in which I spread my leadership skills that I received from my first year in office. This gave me the opportunity to grow and prosper, as well as teach the new officers how to expand there leadership skills.
This was my first opportunity to get to serve as an Elgin FFA Officer. I earned the highest ranking junior office possible and learned so much on excelling the knowledge not only within the organization, but throughout the school on how to be a leader, not only on a local level, but throughout the nation.
Preparing to enter my fourth year in high school, and hopefully a third year in office, I hope to take advantage of my experience and share the wealth with the potential future farmers. Being a very sociable person, I will encourage everyone in the high school, without discrimination, to take part in knowing where their food comes from and how they got the clothes on their back.
