I'm currently seeking a position in the Behavioral Health Field. I have a lifetime of experience as being an addict / Alcoholic with the traumatizing experience of childhood abuse, Sexual, mental, emotional and psychological along with D.V situations and lifestyle as well as being raped several times while raising 3 children on my own. I have been seeking mental health help for 9 years I have been clean for 12 years - a 3 year relapse which I have received help for. I have just completed Intensive out Patient, I have a solid support group I'm actively involved with the 12 step programs and will continue my mental health help for a lifetime. I'm looking forward to finishing my BA in Psychology majoring in Chemical Dependency. ( only 8 mo.'s before graduating) I feel with all of my personal experiences my education and my involvement with the 12 step program I will be very helpful, understanding, patient of others needs in making life changes. I understand that I will need to start at a lower position until I obtain my degree.
