Began as a secretary hired to type for five hours.  Connected very well with the President and was hired.  Karen Oil Co. was an Investment Banking firm for Oil & Gas companies.  We consulted over the telephone with others.  Did customer relations and marketing over the phone.  For example, we telecommuted to be the marketing and financial arm of Great Northern Gas Co. in Colorado.​One of the companies, SABA Petroleum, was ranked #2 on the Stock Exchange as reported in the Wall Street Journal.  Mr. Fuerst was so elated that he decided to open a stock brokerage.  On my own initiative, I took three licensing exams and thus enabled him to receive approval for an NASD-approved stock brokerage, Fuerst Securities.  I had my own satellite office and telecommuted to Colorado.  I was responsible for daily reports, all trades, telephone contact with customers.   Responsibility for any errors or discrepancies were mine alone. ​
