  • Manage the receptionist area, including greeting visitors and responding to telephone and in-person request for information.

  • Performs clerical duties related to screening calls and facilitating communication for Clinical Managers, field clinicians and other staff between patients, families and other companies utilizing appropriate phone etiquette at all times.
  • Works as a team member to facilitate Pre-Admission Testing nurse and other field clinician needs including, but not limited to, additional clinical documentation, lab and other diagnostic/procedure information that may directly affect the patients Plan of Care. Response to these requests will completed timely, efficiently and accurately.
  • Performs other duties as assigned above and beyond expectation to assist with the needs/goals of the department.
  • Demonstrate leadership and professional demeanor and is responsible for portraying an example of excellence in every encounter.
  • Assists with all daily patient operations, and gathering/entering applicable data necessary in all appropriate databases according to agency policy with minimal to no date entry errors and/or delays
  • Able to identify potential barriers to admission/surgergical process (i.e. insurance status, family support/dynamic, etc.), updates Supervisor as appropriate regarding barriers identified in a timely manner.
  • Good communication skills. Able to interact effectively with all levels of the organization and patients/families.
