Meals on Wheels , 07/2007 - Current Jody Grant – City, STATE, I worked at the Multnomah Art Center for Meals on Wheels. We help prepare and serve meals to seniors, that couldn't make a meal or went able to. We sat down with the seniors and talked to them about their worries, or what was going on in their lives. We always smiled and gave warm hugs when they walked through the doors. Working for them was a great opportunity.
Meals on Wheels , 07/2007 - Current Many – City, STATE, I do many things in this job. I work for many people, and just walk around the offices asking if they need help. Many of the people I work for have a lot of paper work to do and haven't completed them. They give me paper work to complete for them, Alphabetizes the papers, Sometimes they like me to work on the computer and work on files, when they don't have anything for me to do or they need to finish making place mats for the seniors, they hand me some place mats and I draw pictures on the mats and inspirational quotes, and we ship them off. I do mostly everything in this job except answering phones.
Nestucca Adventures, 02/2016 - Current DJ – City, STATE, Nestucca Adventures is a wonderful place to work. I started last year and worked with Mr.DJ and Mr.Mike. Nestucca Adventures is at Pacific City. I start at 10 and turn on the T.V to put the slide show, I go down to the dock and count how many, Hobbies, paddle boards, and many more are at the dock. I put everything in it's place make sure everything is secure and doesn't have sand. Once that is done and people start coming in I work at the cash register. I handle the money and the customers and answer the phones and sometimes make business calls.
