To Whom It May Concern, It is with great excitement that I send off my application for the Marketing Assistant position at the Bank of Ann Arbor. I am convinced that my extensive experience in thefields of videography, multimedia pro- duction, writing and reporting, and tech support are just what you're looking for in your next candidate. My background is in marketing and public relations with extensive experience in multi-media production. I've mastered a variety of production technology and techniques having worked in this field. In the past five years, I have spent much time focusing on multimedia production including website-building, creat- ing pamphlets and brochures using my graphic design skills, writing content, and producing audio and video. To view samples of my work online, I encourage you to visit my personal website listed at the top of the page. I took on my most recent position at the Center for Research on Learning and Teaching (CRLT) in July 2011 as a program assistant. Initially, I planned events ranging from poster fairs to campus wide teach-
However, my greatest contribution to CRLT has been building the foundation for a videography program within the department.
I assisted with procuring proper equipment to run a top-notch videography program, and produced a variety of the following types of video: special events including musical performance, theatrical interactive video, interviews, seminars and sessions featuring internal and external speakers, and feature videos highlighting successful teaching techniques, to name a few.
Within the past year the department has grown with my persistence and encouragement in the value of this project.
I am the go-to person in the office for assistance with operating a multitude of design and web produc- tion programs on Macintosh computers, and serve as a resource for resolving IT issues at CRLT events.
At these events I make a special point to work directly with presenters especially with regards to tech- nology - I check that their programs and presentations are working properly, set them up with micro- phones, and explain event processes firsthand to ensure the smooth execution of events.
Thank you so much for taking the time to review my cover letter and resume, and I look forward to the chance to tell you more about myself and what I have to offer your department in an interview setting.
