Executive VP for Renewables
Originated, developed and closed contracts for Renewable Energy projects ranging from methane destruction to Renewable Energy Certificates.
Lead on Project Development team for bid response to Gainesville Regional Utility (in Florida) Biomass Generation Project.
We were the #1 selection on the shortlist with a manageable 30 MW Biomass plant but ultimately lost out to a 100 MW proposal that eventually shut down for political, logistical and economic reasons.
Nat also led the Project Development team and response to Florida Municipal Power Association's 10 MW PV Solar Bid.
The bid was awarded to a company that is unable to build the systems at the quoted price.
Nat has also developed a 16 KW project with Margaritaville Restaurants at Universal Studio's City Walk.
Developed and closed numerous projects involving the origination, certification and sale of Carbon offsets and Renewable Energy Certificates for Renewable Generation and landfill gas facilities.

TopLine Energy Systems TES
Executive and Managerial leadership in recycling, renewable energy and global waste to fuels to energy products technologies and markets.
Nat has a successful track record of developing and completing projects that provide economically driven, environmentally sensitive solutions to commercial, industrial and municipal environments.
A frequent speaker before industry gatherings and past advisor for renewable energy initiatives and technologies, Nat is well recognized around the Recycling and Cleantech industries as a leader in articulating the trends and issues facing the efficiency industry, renewable energy and has intimate familiarity with complex market policy, renewable technologies, un-standardized commodities and detailed price and term negotiations.
His clients list embraces some of most recognized corporations in the US including: The US Department of Energy, Duke Energy, Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, Sterling Planet, Orlando Utilities Commission, Margaritaville Industries, TECO, City of Cologne Veneto-Verona, Italy, International Paper, Georgia Pacific and multiple state and local governments.
Policy Development Experience:
Nat is the Renewable Technology advisor to the past Chairman of the Florida Energy Task Force, Governor's Energy and Climate Action Team and the current Chair of the Policy Advisory Board of the Florida Solar Energy Center.
He has been a featured presenter at multiple energy industry, technical associations, government policy forums and conferences and has been called upon to speak on issues involving the removal of regulatory barriers, implementation of next generation technologies, emerging technologies markets and the reality (vs.
theory) of renewable project development and operations.
Technology Development Experience
Nat owned and operated the Material Energy Recovery Facility (MERF) and Process Engineered Fuel (PEF) Company at Walt Disney World.
He employed over 45 full time employees with an annual revenue stream of over $2 million and was the largest private vendor on property.
His proprietary processing system is a fully automated linear series of material specific separation modules that recovers greater than 90% of recyclable material without requiring dedicated personnel reaching into the waste stream to pull recoverables out.
The fuel produced from this facility consistently exceeded 7500 Btu per pound, was less than 20% moisture and produced less than 10% ash.
Our PEF was sold to a local energy generation plant where it was blended with coal in a conventional pulverized coal fed boiler.
Nat also successfully lobbied the Florida DEP to allow the PEF to count toward Disney's waste diversion percentages.
Nat developed a commercialization glide path, created a marketing strategy, oversaw operations and was responsible hiring and establishing intern programs for electrical, chemical and engineering needs.
He was also was in charge of raising capital, negotiating licensing agreements with MIT (for a 12 Patent Cold Plasma Fuel Portfolio), developing Strategic Alliances and Joint Technology Development Agreements.
The technology is a disruptive cold plasma, fuel reformer utilizing POx to produce onsite / on demand H2 rich Synthesis Gas at less than 10% parasitic load.
The system successfully demonstrated sufficient synthesis gas production to produce 100 barrels a day of methanol at less than $1.00 gasoline gallon equivalence.
Nat has a unique depth of experience with the vertical integration of emerging technologies and uses this knowledge to provide strategic deployment models designed to introduce and fast track disruptive technologies with minimal market resistance.
Included in his technology portfolio are: automated pelletizing systems, fuel feed processing and storage technologies, fully automated waste to fuel separation systems, thermal dehydration processes, bio-thermal gasification systems, non-thermal partial oxidation plasma reactors, gas reforming technologies, gas-to-liquids technologies, catalytic reformation processes, synthesis gas to olephins production, olephin oligoramization and hydrogen enhanced combustion systems.

Managing Partner, CEODOE / Three Rivers Technology Center
In 2002 this system was moved to the 3 Rivers Technology Center which is operated by Three Rivers Waste Authority a nine county Regional Waste Authority located at the DOE's Savannah River National Labs in Aiken, SC.
Nat was hired as the primary consultant for the development of the Technology Center to evaluate the commercialization status of technologies applying with the Center.
Cologna Veneto, Italy
Nat developed, sold and installed a 350 ton per day RDF receiving, pelletizing and fuel storage system as well as vertically integrated an automated feed system for an 8 MWh gasification system.
This system received processed MSW from the surrounding community.
The material was delivered to the facility; the trucks unloaded into a receiving hopper that fed a dual pelletizing system (equipped with heated dies for increased plastic content).
The inbound material was densified into pellets that were then conveyed into an automated mixing bin which in turn fed the gasifiers.
Carbon Offset Originators-
CO2 was a Carbon Offset origination company founded by Nat Mundy to originate, develop and market Carbon Offsets.
Nat worked extensively with State Government officials throughout the SE to develop the projects, infrastructure and supply chain for Carbon Offset' s from Improved Forest Management projects, methane destruction and fuel switching projects.
