A list of some of the skills that I posses range all over the board. During my time as a dishwasher, I had to Study methods of coworkers, successfully learning skills such as how to work fast and efficiently without delay. Some of my duties involved scraping and pre-rinsing food from dirty dishes and placing items in to the dishwashing machine. During the night I would scrub pots, pans and trays by hand followed by using an industrial washing machine. Also I maintained a clean and well-organized kitchen area to promote efficiency, as well as kept dishware, glasses and utensils ready for all customer needs by quickly scraping, washing and restocking items. During the times when we were not busy I would make sure the main kitchen areas are restocked with items from shelves, coolers and freezers to help food preparation staff stay focused on customer orders. On the days I came in early to often prep for the evening, I also helped move food and supply items from delivery trucks to storage by unloading and organizing. towards the end my duties normally consisted of maintaining cleaning equipment and tools, including dishwasher, hand wash stations, pot-scrubbing station and taking out the trash at the end of the night.
While I was a plumbers assistant I was required to communicate with customers regarding recommendations on repairs, replacements and upgrades of plumbing equipment. I was also responsible for going out to a location and giving a report back to my superior stating what the damages were, providing pictures and a clear explanation of what the job consists of. This was ideal in order to make the bssiness day run smoothly. I also stored food in designated containers and proper storage locations to prevent spoilage, cross-contamination and illnesses. Another duty was monitring and counting food stock and supplies to reorder on time, restocking kitchen supplies by rotating food according to dates and time. Maximising a well maintained clean, well-organized and properly sanitized front counter area to greet customers. During such time, I verified orders and bagged items for easy and safe transport and kept customer and food preparation areas clean and well-organized for maximum efficiency.
During my time at serve pro I learned great conmunication as well as what it meant to have a good work ethic. I quickly learned that if things weren't done right, I was there until it was done correctly as long as it took. The job was exacuted. The time of exacuting my jobs got progressivly faster, and before I knew it, I was at the shop all the time because of how fast me and my crew leader for the day worked. I learned how to remove destroyed carpet and dry walls depending on the damage. I used a multitude of tools in order to exacute my job efficiently and quickly. I assembled parts using bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets and other fasteners, in order to Demonstrate excellent mechanical knowledge of machines and tools, including design, use, repair and maintenance. While under employment my skills were best suited for in house jobs like building lockers, orginizing and cleaning the where house area. In addition, sweeaping and some times hosing the garage down. When able to go out on jobs, I used such tools as a carpenders knife and an elctrical hand saw to rmove dry wall, I also commonly used a stud finder. In order to avoid cutting to far in to the wall thus, avoiding wires as well.
