  • I was involved in a BYU Hawaii business plan competition that involved setting up a 40,000 sq ft. Marriott convention center between PCC's Gateway restaurant and their kitchen that would increase demand for hotel rooms near Laie by 25%.
  • I also helped create idea for a unique, themed family restaurant for the Polynesian Cultural Center that would generate over $10,000 a day in increased retail, food and beverage revenue.
  • I produced a video documentary interviewing occupational therapists that demonstrated how using aquaponics helped patients of the Hawaii State hospital helped overcome their afflictions.
  • I won 1st place in the History Channel student video competition. My topic was on sustainability and renewable energy.
  • I spearheaded a fund-raiser as a high school student that raised $10,000 for victims of the Fukushima tsunami.
