I attended Argosy University-Dallas where I received my Masters in Professional Counseling and have an undergraduate degree in Psychology from South Carolina State University. I am currently working at National Counseling Group as a Community Based Counselor II. I have experience working with adults and adolescents with mental disorders, counseling women that were incarcerated that suffered from substance abuse related disorders and also have a background in counseling adults that have been a victim of domestic violence. Having the opportunity to work with culturally diverse adolescents and adult population providing individual counseling, group therapy, developing and implementing individual treatment plans. I am interested in pursuing this opportunity with your agency for the experience in which I would gain socially, spiritually as well as economically. However, the well-being of the needed individuals, including myself, is more of which I choose to gain from this hopeful experience.
