JOB DUTIES AND DESCRIPTION
Inspect parts for any dents cracks or anything that would affect the job to come out wrong.  Clean parts with acetone wipe out all oils or grease the part might have come in.  Mask areas on the part that wont get chrome plated.  Set up jobs in racks assigned to the job at hand.  Put job in tank make sure all contacts are clean to make sure the part gets well plated.
Using a rectifier to set how much volts and amps are put into the part that is being chrome plated and have it set for a certain amount of time smaller parts would go for 20 min to 8+ hours depending on job.  After job is done it is pulled out of tank and washed for inspection by inspectors if passed it is now taken out of the rack and clean removing any and all masking it was used.  After it is clean polishers use work bench grinders and portable grinders to remove all built up chrome on the edges, using sand belts for the polishing.  Inspectors check it one last time before it is packed and shipped for client.
