I worked 9+ years at Dennys restaurant working graveyard shift (10 PM to 7 AM). Working mostly with just myself and a cook (no management) I had to learn how to work the restaurant without any help. Obviously there were things I couldn't do, such as pay roll and employee scheduling, but maintaining the restaurant, keeping my patrons happy, working the cash register, as well as sometimes even doing a job that wasn't my own (cooking and dishwashing) I had to do. Sometimes doing all of these at the same time. I am extremely teachable and I love overcoming challenges. I always try to learn more then just my station just in case help is needed in another position that isn't my own.
