Responsible for origination of structured transactions and marketing activities for Hydro Quebec's ("HQ") capacity and energy exports/imports to and from NY market area.
Worked within the New York Independent System Operator (NYISO) regulatory process, renewable energy markets, and business planning.
Developed a comprehensive Coal Business Plan for HQUS (coal tolling, coal purchasing and transportation, coal trading, personnel requirements, time lines and budgets) that was presented and approved by HQ.
Executed several profitable coal tolling agreements that improved HQUS's bottom line.
Sold more than $20 million worth of installed capacity (ICAP) in NY.
Negotiated an 11 year capacity/energy sale with others on the team.
