Summary

Leo Buscagalia vocalized that, “Your talents are your gift from God, what you choose to do with it is your gift back. Music has always been a huge part of my life; it has healed and cultivated me to become who I am today and will continue. I have spent a great deal of time learning how to use assorted DAWs such as Protools, Logic Pro X, and Fl Studio 20 to record and produce instrumental and vocal music. Additionally, I have learned to write rhythmic, melodic, lyrical, symphonic and full ensemble dictation. My career aspirations within the music industry is to avail myself with all opportunities that will assist me in becoming the best version of myself. I have been blessed with many opportunities that are building an array of experiences in the music field including Drexel’s S.T.E.A.M. Summer Program, Rowan’s Music Industry Camp, the Instrumental Music Academy at Camden County Technical School Gloucester County, dance lessons at All Star Dance, music lessons at Music Training Center, Internship for Jidenna and Wondaland Arts Society. These opportunities have supplied me with the confidence, action, precision, enthusiasm, passion, and an abundance of love for music; which I wish to use to change the world around me. In my research, I have discovered that there are only three prominent entertainment corporations in the world, which are Sony Entertainment , Warner Entertainment, and Universal Entertainment. A plethora of other small entertainment-based companies fall under their umbrellas. I aspire to own a billion dollar entertainment corporation that has covers Music Production, Television and Film, Radio, Steaming Services, A&R, Event Planning, Management, and Publishing Guilds. This will be the fourth prominent entertainment company created in the vision of bringing “Old School Hip Hop and Rhythm & Blues'' into the limelight of today’s vastly growing industry. My goal is to allow the past vibes to be embraced and influence a new uptempo, nourishing and heartfelt approach to the entertainment industry. I will own a non-profit organization that focuses on teaching and inspiring the next generation of entertainers and business leaders to start early. This opportunity will give these individuals an enriching experience, so they have a head start in knowing how to succeed in this ever-growing industry. This program will be available for students from K-12 and will feature different aspects of the industry. These students will have the opportunity to be able to have a mentor that can guide them with feedback that can help build them into marketable assets.
