Detail-oriented and adept at collecting and processing information. Strategic and organized with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proven track record of applying advanced research and analysis skills. Keen ability to work in high-pressure situations.
I was born and raised in Long Island, New York to an Israeli mother of Moroccan descent and an American father of Eastern European descent. As a child I excelled both academically and athletically, achieving numerous awards, despite sustaining various significant injuries - each of which required surgery. I found that the adversity I had experienced early in life served to bolster my already prideful, ambitious and competitive disposition.
I have spent a significant amount of time and effort mistakenly pursuing a career and life oriented toward achieving wealth and financial success, foolishly believing that such comfort and the freedom afforded by wealth would lead to my happiness. However, for the past several years such disillusion has increasingly become more apparent. Despite obtaining moderate success and placing myself on track to continue in such direction, I have been unable to escape feelings of apathy, tedium and detachment. I have realized that what truly makes me happy and instills a sense of vivacity is doing something stimulating and meaningful with my life.
As for the latter, there is nothing more meaningful to me than working towards the security and protection of Israel and ultimately providing a safe haven for Jews when history inevitably repeats itself. My passion is derived not only from my detailed knowledge of the Holocaust, but ranges throughout history from pogroms to the abundance of terrorist attacks, both prior and subsequent to the creation of Israel. When I learn about the contributions to the establishment and security of Israel made by individuals such as Ben Gurion (particularly as a member of the Haganah), Meir Dagan, Ehud Barak, etc., I regret having failed to serve in the IDF – after all they say youth is wasted on the young. I now wish to rectify said omission and devote my career, and as a majority of ones waking hours are spent working – my life in contributing to safety of Israel.
As for the former, for whatever reason, I have always been stimulated by national politics, intelligence and security. In short, I can spend months consistently researching and analyzing news and events throughout the Middle East. I am confident that if given the opportunity, my mental acumen and overall skillset will prove useful or serve as a foundation so that I may be an asset for the security and intelligence of Israel.
