  • Accept and process encroachment, transportation, water and sewer, and building development applications, fees for process, and permits, including coordinating required inspections for same.

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of various program activity tracking systems for capital improvement projects (CIPs) and plan check reviews for public and private development projects.

  • Assists in the preparation of construction contracts for Public Works Projects, related professional consulting services, Right of Way relinquishment, and professional consulting services for the Hangtown Creek Water Reclamation Facility relative to environmental compliance and permitting (water/Sewer/Laboratory certifications).
  • Coordinates materials, contracts, Bids/RFPs/RFQs, and related documents required for outside audit pursuant to state and federal funding sources relative to public works projects.
  • Assist with the processing of various permits, notices, responses to violations, and other correspondence required for environmental compliance, for example, waste water discharge requirements, related to the operations of the Hangtown Creek Water Reclamation Facility.
  • Review, audit, and process invoices for payments to vendors and contractors/consultants in support of all divisions within the Development Services Department.
  • Review, audit, and reconcile time and materials accounts (T & M) for private development projects.
  • Represents the City of Placerville as an alternate to the Director of Development Services on the El Dorado County Solid Waste Advisory Committee.
