  • Fitness center offers a wide variety of equipment, programs, and a blend of cardiovascular, circuit weight training and free weights machines for all levels; it is equipped with a sauna, whirlpool, racquetball court, and a weight room.
  • Manage and maintain temporary or permanent lodging faculties, such as small apartment houses, hotels, and registers guests.
  • Collects rents and records data pertains to rent funds and expenditure.
  • Provides telephone answering service for tenants, delivers mail and packages, and, answers inquiries concerning travel routes, recreational facilities.

  • Utilize the highly specialized Mortuary Operations Management System (MOMS), Armed Forces Medical Examiner Tracking System (AFMETS), Defense Casualty Information Processing System (DCIPS), and all other maintenance system in support Port Mortuary functions.
  • Vast knowledge of all policies, phases, regulation of Mortuary programs and maintained a hard copy of each case file in the MOMS system.
  • Responsible for downloading AFMETS release document for case number assigned MOMS.
  • Create incident files in MOMS.
  • Monitor remains positive identification.
  • Provide logical association of the remains' ID number and release of name.
  • Authenticate and verify 100% accuracy and obtain second verification prior to disseminating release documents to branch of service and shipment of remains.
  • Store data into MOMS and AFMETS for immediate update to HQ level servers for use by all specialists within the Office Armed Force Medical Examiner and service liaison's office.
  • Provide all required information for final destination shipment.
  • Arrange with TMO an escort, determine mode of travel, check for any special shipping requirements when going to overseas countries, verify shipping data requested, status remains in-house, escort availability and readiness, update MOMS data files, forward all required documentation and schedules.
  • Apply all knowledge of DOD instruction, policy and procedure as it applies to specific missions.
  • Maintain a financial accountability/track cost data report of all post cost which incurred for each remains into the MOMS system, to include contractor and government costs, expenditures such as caskets, urns, air trays, transportation, interment/cremation, clothing, flags, etc.
  • and prepare documents for resource advisor actions.
  • Control supply orders, track expenses, validate and compile listing of office supply requirements and create purchase orders.
  • Plan and organize work and meet deadlines; establish effective working relationships with individuals, groups, and the public with courtesy and respect.
  • Interpret and apply public law, all service branch instructions and regulations, DOD/MAJCOM directives, and USAF policy directives related to mortuary operations and activities.
  • In depth knowledge of word processing, automation software functions, Microsoft Office, MOMS, AFMES, and the DCIPS to support Port Mortuary operations.
  • Excellent written communication skills to include variety of textual documents such as letters, reports, memos, and forms letters, assuring correct punctuation, grammar are properly arranged on typed statistical material.
