With my past experience of working with seniors, and current experience of handling a 3 year old boy, I will not only be able to communicate but also be able to adapt to meet new or different requirements for each person that comes in.
Coming from am old fashion family, I already know my manors. But working in a restaurant and with dementia/alzheimers residents has given me plenty of opportunities to keep my patience and maintain an upbeat positive attitude to effectively resolve the issue at hand.
Although being a single mother keeps me pretty busy, I still like to stay busy by doing crafts, wrestling with my son, tending to my plants, or playing with my pets.
I need a job that understands and respects that my family and well being comes first. I do not like going to the doctors office unless it is absolutely necessary.
I thrive in work environments where I am comfortable and friends with my employer/fellow employees. I do not like to argue but will insist on communicating to find a resolution. I encourage fellow employees to give me constructive criticism and help me find more efficient ways to get the job done.
In high-school I really enjoyed the arts. You would find me playing the clarinet in pep band and in concerts or in the art room perfecting my current piece.
Literature wasn't my favorite class but writing has always come easy to me. I like to believe I'm more like my grandma. We're both creative and intuitive with a green thumb.
Hesston also has a robotics team which I participated with a Russian foreign exchange student the first year and we qualified for state. The other two years I helped the teacher manage and schedule classroom events.
