I am able to take scans of hundreds of shoes a week with a special new scanning technology that will hopefully be helpful to law enforcement in the near future. Professor Tom Mauriello is a well known teacher and former law enforcement officer. He is a forensics specialist that even is called into trials to testify using his extensive knowledge of different subjects like blood spatter, finger prints, gun shot residue, show prints, and other things that can be left behind in a crime scene. Being able to work with such a knowledgable individual is helping me learn things I never would have learned without this hands on experience.
