Paintball player and Referee
Rikard

These past 10 plus years i have been going to Paintball scenario games. Either playing them or being a Ref. This hobby has taught me things.

  • Leadership. Not only jobsites but as well on a field where emotions are high, I have handle these things and pushed my teammates to our goals, being persistent, tenacious, and keeping an eye on everything around me.
  • Team work. This I would believe is obvious. People im barely around and at times do not know who they are, i am more than capable of working well with others to achieve our goals.
  • Hard work. Even when im not working, I always play hard. putting my work ethic into my games.
  • People skills. Being a Ref at one of these games is tough. from taking hits of players, to having deal with there high emotions to make the right call.
  • Doing the right thing. Being a Ref doesn't mean im always liked. I've been set as a person to uphold rules and to make sure others are doing the same. with this I have learned to push what is the right thing to do because these are the rules, and have no problem telling someone that.
