Server Resume Example

I have loyally worked for the same company since May of 2004. Although I work as a full time server at a very busy Restaurant, I have acquired a very friendly and professional mannerly in dealing with customers and the public in both a friendly and timely fashion. During my 9 years working for my current employer (Double T Diner), I completed the Medical Assisting program at the former Medix School West in 2007. After Medix, I realized that I could earn more of an income waiting tables, however I left the school with complete medical knowledge and very important office skills including keyboarding and various computer programs. I became a loving mother of two children (now school age) in which we have traveled to El Salvador on missionary trips with the non profit organization "Somos Amigos" giving us a very useful cultural experiene that could never be learned in a classroom. I am fluent in Spanish, and studying at Baltimore County Community College to receive certification as a Spanish/English translator. With my excellent customer skills, and fluency in Spanish, I am hoping to find a career in which these important skills are needed.
