My experience serving has led me to gained knowledge and skills in consolidation, multitasking, memorization, professionalism, communication, and upselling items. I have worked in restaurants that attract a large number of customers which led me to be able to handle many large high tops at once. I pride myself on presenting the best service to customers as an employee so that I can make more connections and further my career in hospitality. I want to give people the best experience they can have because everyone deserves a relaxing time. I make sure that I have genuine conversations with customers, and have made an impact on them as well as have been impacted by them. I also work well with my team and always am dependable and respectful in stressful situations.
I completed 2 and a half years of courses at the University of Wisconsin Stout in Video Production. I was involved in the Honors College at the University of Wisconsin Stout, made the deans list every semester, had artwork placed in the Furlong Gallery and the Mabel Tainter. I was chosen by the National Honors Council to present a short film I made in Boston Massachusetts. I have worked very hard to be the best artist I can to express myself and hopefully make connections with my viewers.
Working at Log Jam furthered my experience in serving. I work full time as a waitress and began to bartend. I love working with my team and experiencing new customers from different parts of the world with different stories. I have experience in managing high intense days and love taking on multiple tables and hightops at a time. I make the effort to help my other co-workers when needed and keep our stations clean and orderly.
Over the summer I worked as a server and a cocktail waitress at Little Angie's Cantina. Little Angie's is placed right on the strip of canal park and was one of the biggest tourist attractions. I loved the busy environment and enjoyed having something to do at all times. We were trained for a week and required to take 3 written tests and shadow training. I came in with no serving experience and left understanding hospitality, food service, bar knowledge, and overall consolidation and organization skills. I loved the high energy environment and overall experience.

Reconciled cash drawer at the start and end of each shift, accounting for errors and resolving discrepancies.
Processed POS transactions, including checks, cash and credit purchases or refunds.
Checked prices for customers and processed items sold by scanning barcodes.
Restocked, arranged and organized merchandise in front lanes to drive product sales.
I love to do so many things in life including playing music including 5 instruments: guitar, ukulele, piano, trumpet, and bass. I also love to workout and run outside. I was a cross-country runner for 7 years of my life and workout as stress relief. I also skateboard and started to snowboard during the summers and winters. I am an artist and love to draw, paint, make ceramics, and indulge in photography and videography. I have shot wedding and graduation photos and videos and love making creative short personal videos on the side. Life is so full of great things and I try to make the best of any situation that I have. I want to explore more places and make connections with people. I fully believe in the human connection because at the end of the day all you have are the people around you, and why not try to present your best self in order to make another person's day a little better. After a series of events that have happened in my life, I have always made it a point to make a positive impact on others. I have so many hobbies I enjoy, but they wouldn't be as great if I couldn't share them with the people around me.
