I recently married Brian Booth and moved to Blanding in March. When I heard about this job opportunity I was instantly excited. I love the Gospel and opportunities to serve, and feel working in the Seminary program will be a wonderful way to share those loves with others. I already have so many ideas. I also enjoy working with the youth, and have had some experience as a substitute teacher. I took a few courses at Dixie State College and was able to use the knowledge I already obtained to test out of the Microsoft Office class, that was several years ago, but I learn quickly and work hard. I have always excelled at any job I have held because honesty, integrity, and a good work ethic have always been important to me. If accepted for this job opportunity my goal is to help make Seminary a class that the students look forward to going to, to help them find ways to serve, and to help them build strong relationships with Church leaders and missionaries serving for our church. Looking back on my high school days, Seminary is the one class I have many strong memories of...not necessarily everything I learned, but the feelings I felt in those classes and the examples that were taught about how to treat people with love and compassion. I would like to help make Seminary a fond memory for others as well. Effective at processing and filling prescriptions under direction of fully qualified [Job title]. Customer service-oriented and well-organized with solid understanding of [Type] pharmacy operations and regulations. Basic [Language] skills.
Same as mentioned above.
Prior to my 10 previous years employment I have held several jobs that I feel the experience gained will contribute to my qualifications for the job applied for that I would like to share.
I worked at the Family Support Center in Cedar City, UT. There I spent a lot of time working with children and parents from troubled homes. I found this job to be very rewarding because of the relationships I developed and also the opportunities I had to watch the families I worked with develop skills to better their relationships.
I also worked as a substitute teacher at Enoch Elementary in Enoch, UT. This taught me a lot about how the school system works and gave me an opportunity to develop skills of teaching and encouraging others.
I spent a couple years as an in home nanny for a family with 3 young children and a pre-teen. This gave me several opportunities to plan and prepare activities that were fun and educational and helped me learn to be organized, to budget, and to prepare and keep to a schedule.
My first job out of High School was at a Walmart where I was quickly promoted to a Customer Service Manager which educated and trained me on many aspects of being an administrative assistant as I worked with our administration to oversee several employees, making sure they had the things they needed to successfully complete their job requirements.
I spent over 10 years of my life working as a CNA in nursing homes and assisted living facilities. This is where I think I gained my love for serving others. I have a very special place in my heart for the elderly and would love to help the youth I work with find that same love and respect by helping them find ways to serve and build relationships with the elderly in our community. This may not seem like something applicable to the job I am applying for, but I would love the opportunity to explain to you how I feel it is relatable.
