Establish SDA Volunteer Chaplaincy service at Okeechobee Correctional Institution where we served an inmate population of 1800. We had very humble beginnings with only about 10 SDA inmates but with God's blessings and the enlistment and training of volunteers, we were able to baptize over 150 inmates. This ministry ran from 2012 to 2020.
Developed partnership between Florida Hospital Heartland Division (Advent Health) and the Lake Placid SDA church in order to bring better service to our communities of the health initiatives the local congregation is providing. Worked very closely with the hospital administrators in planning and organizing relevant outreach events.
Assisted local chaplains at Advent Health when they needed additional staff. All volunteer work. We provided pastoral care for the staff and patient population.
