In 2008 I received my CNA license while I was in highschool and worked at a nursing home. The following year I had my daughter and out my healthcare dreams on hold so this job would be a dream come true for me. I might not be trained or have the medical assistant license yet, but I'm willing to put in the work and learn.

I do book keeping, answer phones, make appointments. I help with payroll with business accounts. Do light cleaning. Help clients sign tax forms. I file paperwork. I also do alot of data entry for some of the accounts that we do. I keep my work area very organized and clean. I always deliver information to clients when they call and I am very friendly, they always tell my boss that! I always get my tasks done on time, and I am very reliable. I take payments from people who owe on account by cash, check, or card. I also maintain office safety by screening visitors and letting my boss know who is here and if they have an appointment or not.

This was a factory job. So I was on a line using tools to skin the skin off the pig bellies. I also would have to throw them. We had to work closely with team members so there was no accidents. I had to make sure the store was locked up at night and the alarms were set. I cleaned and made sure the store looked in great condition. I maintained high productivity by processing cash, debit, and on account sales. I was quick with getting the customer out as they were in a hurry and there wasn't a long line. I bagged items for customers to prevent merchandise breakage. I made sure customers were signed up for reward programs. I welcomed customers, thanked them, and offered assistance to them. Customer service was my top priority, making sure they were satisfied when they left. I also cleaned up the outside of the store, and the laundry room to make sure the outside looked in great shape. I also trained new cashiers on the cash register. I stocked shelves on truck days and also at the end of every shift in the cooler. I worked closely with other staff so we were always on base with eachother. I checked IDs to make sure customers were of age when buying tobacco or alcohol.
