Administer appropriate evaluation measures to assess for disabilities and other barriers to learning; maintain knowledge of current research regarding children with disabilities along with general trends in teaching and learning; maintain knowledge of laws that govern general education and special education policies; promote diversity in practice with students and families; communicate with school leaders regarding programming to meet the needs of the general education students; participate in program initiatives of school psychology department; facilitate professional development sessions as needed; develop problem solving solutions to address systematic needs within the school building; formerly on leadership team of related service providers which included mentoring, advocating, evaluating performance, training and budgeting materials.
