  • SAP HCM Technical lead (Houston) HCM Technical team lead handling HCM support for Marathon Petroleum (Downstream), technical and functional.
  • Responsibilities involved being the main point of contact in handling production incidents, new development requests, projects, and conducting bi-weekly meetings with the client to prioritize their tickets and discuss our work progress.
  • Other duties included ensuring all Service Level Agreements were met, managing, mentoring and coordinating the development work with India offshore team, ensuring incidents/tickets/projects are completed on time.
  • Also performed quality assurance, reviewing and testing objects before turning over to client.
  • Created several Netweaver portal iViews for various WebDynpro ABAP applications Headed Speedway stores Annual Compensation project, handling the all enhancements and development which included ABAP, the portal, and the IMG using the Homepage Framework and Object and Data Provider for ECM.
  • Lead the development efforts each year for Benefits Open Enrollment project which includes vendor interface modifications, new vendor interfaces, modifications to the Sapscript confirmation forms, the portal, and the guided procedures which are utilized as part of Benefits Open Enrollment.
  • Team lead in the Hess Acquisition project.
  • Gathered requirements and prepared all the technical specifications to be sent offshore for 10 Hess interfaces to be sent to Kronos and other vendors.
  • All development had to be completed within a 5 weeks' time.
  • Lead the HR team in the conversion of two mainframe systems over into SAP.

  • Managed the Speedway Onboarding project which is a process that required partial data to be created for store employees being hired into SAP by Store managers or Recruiters and feed this data to a third party where the store employees would login to the Enwisen system and the employee would proceed to enter other personnel information and then Enwisen would send this information back to Marathon Petroleum to be loaded to SAP.

  • SAIC Global Enterprise Services, SAP HCM ABAP Technical lead(Houston) Team Member of the Global Enterprise Services organization responsible for providing SAP HCM technical support for Marathon Oil Corporation (Upstream/Downstream) Developed Late Data Entry system that replaced a largely manual process for the Consolidation (BCS) for the Marathon Financial users.
  • The data entered in the Late Entry system is then automatically fed to the Consolidation system.
  • Developed PD Role Automation program where roles are assigned to positions Lead the development efforts each year for Benefits Open Enrollment project which includes vendor interface modifications, new vendor interfaces, modifications to the Sapscript confirmation forms, the portal, and the guided procedures which are utilized as part of Benefits Open Enrollment.
  • Responsible for all HR development/enhancements for SAP HR upgrade from 4.6C to ECC 6.0 Created Payroll ALV report that dynamically produces Wage type hours per pay period.

  • Developed WebDynpro ABAP Leave Request application for employees and managers to maintain Leave Requests.
  • Managed and lead effort in converting a mainframe Education Reimbursement system into a WebDynpro ABAP application to be utilized within the SAP portal.
  • Employees would login to the portal and enter their degree or courses and request reimbursement.
  • MPC or Speedway Managers would login to portal to approve or reject the employee's request.
  • Once the request was approved, a infotype 0015 record would be created for the amount to be reimbursed and ultimately picked up by payroll to apply to the employee's next payroll check.

  • The custom infotype allows for multiple entries in a single day which will in turn be loaded to infotype 0008 Programmed an ABAP program that will dynamically perform an insert, change, or delete in infotype 0008 through the Dynamic Actions whenever a record is created, changed or deleted in custom infotype 9008-Additional Salary Info Developed ABAP code for user exit, EXIT_SAPFP50M_002 to validate the user's entry when creating Dependent Life plan in infotype 0168 where the Dependent plan can only be entered if the employee has met the prerequisite of being enrolled in a Life Insurance plan and correct coverage level.
  • Created Calculation Rule function module (using transaction PE04) in the payroll schema to calculate the 401k Employer contribution amount in the current payroll run.
