Immediately after High School I joined the Marine Corps and became a Marine Presidential Guard stationed in DC then, I went to the fleet and became a Rifleman Squad leader where I was in charge of the physical readiness, discipline, education, training and safety of 12 Marine Rifleman under my command. Being a Rifleman Squad Leader was a billet above my pay grade. In my last year in the Marines I became a Rifle Company Armory Custodian which I was responsible for the accountability, safety and maintenance for over $500,000 of sensitive military weapons, optics and communications gear. Being a Rifle Company Armory Custodian was also a billet above my pay grade.
