Assist in the development of the residence budget
Operate the residence within budget
Prepare weekly and monthly reports such as marketing reports, variance reports, petty cash reports, weekly manager reports, etc.
Maintain up to date and completed resident files.Assume on-call responsibilitiesMake final decisions on resident move-ins and move-outs based on the well being of the resident and in accordance with the residence policies and procedures.Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations. Maintain complete up to date employee files.Ensure proper handling of job injuries as reported by employees.Oversee and implement the training of all employees.Conduct monthly in-services as needed to ensure trainings are current and staff are aware of residence policies and changes.Ensure proper documentation for all training.Resident Care ServicesComplete assessments on residents pre-admission, admission, change of condition, etc.Complete admission of new resident. Knowledge of admission agreement, documents needed for admissions, etc.Develop and implement care plans.Communicate on a regular basis with primary care providers, hospice services, and community care/MCO, on any changes/concerns. Ensure we are all involved in plan of care.Investigated and reported issues relating to patient care or conditions that might hinder patient well-being.Medication management of residents. Customer Service/MarketingOversee the safety an well-being of the residents in accordance with the residence philosophy and standards of care.Represent the residence to the community, family members, and visitors. Develop positive relationships with all customers.Establish and maintain a high level of ongoing communication with residents and their families. Contact resident's family when a change of service is needed. Lead and participate in care conferences to review changes of services.Maintain a high level of occupancy and an active waiting list. Assist with marketing of the residence including developing relationships with local referral sources.Participate in outside networking meetings. Responsible for tours and remain current in the knowledge of the residence for marketing purposes. Plan Quarterly Parties/Events for residents, family members, referral sources etc.
