  • At the time of referral, collaborate with the assigned Clinician to engage the client, family, and community resources in preparation for the program;
  • Participate in orientation visits;
  • Facilitate client and family team meetings with the clinician;
  • Work to reinforce the client’s individual treatment plan and DBT skills;
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and ‘report out’ on clients being supported in the community;
  • Participate in monthly Team Meetings with the client, their family, clinician(s), Probation Officer, DCF social worker (if applicable), attorney, and educational provider;

  • Assist with establishing educational services after discharge including but not limited to credit recovery programs, GED preparation classes, and college courses, to name a few.

  • Keep current with training and program updates including Restorative Justice and DBT;
