Dedicated Chemical Engineer with excellent technical, analytical and communication skills demonstrated by 44 years of experience in Refining, Petrochemical Operation and Major Capitol Projects.
Increase the capacity of the Tengizchevroil Tengiz Facility
Integrate the Chevron and El Paso Refining Refineries
Expand the El Paso Refining El Paso Refonery
Future Growth Concepts Projects- The project was in CEPDEP Phase 2 and we were defining and evaluating all our options which included process simulations, utility requirements, equipment evaluations. process options and site locations,
Monitor the construction of the Sulfur unit and work on training the operators and working on start up manuals. Coordinate the engineering efforts in Flour offices Camberley with the construction site in Tengiz.
Monitor engineering efforts participate in HAZOP for the Sulfur Recovery Unit and the Utilities area.
Monitor Engineering efforts, participate in P&ID reviews, Participate in HAZOP's for the Utilities, Power Generation and Oil & Gas Units. Review and approve the engineering drawings for the design and construction. Insure that the HAZOP items are incorporated on the construction drawings.
Review the engineering drawing and participate in the HAZOP for the changes required to the existing facility to accommodate the additional production from Train 5. Monitor and schedule the installation of the new Piping and equipment. Train the operators to start up and operate the new piping and equipment.
Monitor the installation and modifications of the existing equipment in the four original process trains, KTL's 1,2,3,& 4, to increase the production from 6.8 mmty to 9.2 mmty. Trained the operators and modified the start up manuals to safely operate the modified facilities.
Team leader in the integration of two existing refineries: Chevron and El Paso Refining LP, an independent refiner. The combined capacity of the integrated refineries is 100,000 BPD. Expanded facility was staffed with former operators and supervisors from EPR. The integration of the cultures has been more challenging than the processing equipment.
