I have a large amount of experience when it comes to both security and teaching due to being a security officer for past 5 years and teaching as I used to teach martial arts in college. I have found a passion for such that when I am done in this field I will become a teacher hopefully of middle-school ages. Due to my current position and desired future positions I am required to maintain a charterer and honor above reproach so others will have faith in me should the skills of my job be required. My background is up to date and can pass any check required of me.

My youngest sister has down syndrome and autism which caused her to run away from home quite often and she was in need of a dog that could track her when she did run away. One of the requirements to being able to receive a service dog was you helped train it and care for it before the dog was even introduced to the child.
I spent two summers (2007 and 2009) help prepare a service dog for my sister.I do not know the exact dates so the dates are a estimate.

When applying for a leadership position I understand that in most cases an employer would like to have someone experience in a managing position/leadership role and while looking at my resume it would seem if that is something I completely lack in. While yes in a work environment it would seem on the surface that I lack any qualities in this area, but if you would look further I can show not only do I have leadership experience but in the areas you would find useful in MaxSent.
1.) Five Years ago I created a guard/FPS officer flag football team as the captain and coach for not only fun but also to build unity within the Portland Federal Contract. Six guards, one FPS officer, and a few friends started out on the team that season, we took Second place of Twelve teams. Since then we have claimed four Championships, two more second place trophies, and one fourth place. The reason I am using this as an example of my leadership is I have faced players being: injured, no shows, late, sick, forgetting game times, or just quitting right before a game and being left a man down. I have had to learn to plan for this and build a solid personal base to prevent it from happening again and if it does always having a backup ready to step forward and fill the gap. While yes this is a much smaller group then what I would be responsible for as a leader in MaxSent the tricks and tools I gained in this area would move over and fill the same duties for your team they did for mine.
2.) Four years ago I received the single man post at Gus J. Solomon United States Courthouse in downtown Portland. At this time we are a one too three man post depending on the day and we deal with two types of hearings, tours, mock trials, and when needed assisting FPS in the cell area compared to when I started we were only standing in Lobby. This post is where the FPS headquarters is located and is one of the most inspected and normally the testing area for new things on post in the entire contract. Before I arrived over three guards had been assigned to the post and were unable to reach the standards that were required of them from the GSA manger and FPS. Since I have arrived I have dealt with the top three floors flooding and being required to not only aid in evacuation of personal and equipment but moving them to areas in the building in which they could continue to conduct business (as the guard I was one of the most knowledgeable persons about the building and the property manger was new at the time). Threats to employees and those that enter the building. I have worked with FPS on many things and have/do act as a go between by passing information that the management office should know about and help keep everyone on same page (people get so busy they tend to think they already have everyone on board with the plan but forget they never put in the request for extra guards or such, I help prevent that from occurring).
Thus in closing I wanted to say I have strong ties in all areas you would want a supervisor to have (FPS, Office, Guards), experience in dealing with crisis, and a background with most of the posts that MaxSent will be managing in the near future.
