Serve as mentor to ten students from Miami. Conduct weekly two-hour group meetings and one hour one-on-one meetings biweekly with each of the ten students. Referred student athletes to proper departments on campus to alleviate personal, social, emotional, or academic issues.
Responsible for the implementation of GEAR UP programming for the eleventh grade at Nottingham High School in Syracuse, New York. Encouraged and exposed higher educational opportunities during GEAR UP study blocks. Supervised and coordinated college visits for students.
