Coordinates delivery runs to and from various clinics and hospitals in the Tri-State area per DOT guidelines and individual state regulations. Acted as Quality Officer and was actively responsible for coordinating aseptic control program. Conducts assessment of proper aseptic techniques. Conducts media fill assessments of staff to ensure the integrity of sterile compounded doses before administration to patients. Assists Radiation Safety Officer with various duties including instrumentation, and quarterly and or annual tasks in compliance with regulatory requirements. Current RSO trainee. Received and processed electronic orders for in-patients and dispensed prescription drugs per order. Conducted Drug Utilization Reviews for potential drug interactions and or adverse events. Made drug recommendations to nursing unit where appropriate, in compliance with Federal Regulations. Provided drug information to physicians and nurses upon request. Managed controlled substances inventory per State and Federal regulations.
