Operated a Color Control System (CCS) making sure color would "hold" to the specifications the customer wanted. Checked print quality to make sure there were no print defects and also checked and adjusted register accordingly. Quad offered classes that were required to move up positions, so I am certified up to the Second Pressman level.
I worked at Wisconsin Web Offset as an intern. Very enjoyable experience being able to work in every department. Started in pre-press, went to the finishing area, and did some press work as well.
Worked at Quebecor World for my first internship. Mainly focused in the finishing department, but did work in all departments ranging from quality control to pre-press to press work.
Training in print operations and focused mainly on Graphic Arts.
Attended WCTC for one year after graduating high school. Only reason I didn't finish my associate degree was because of landing a job at Quad.
