I currently provide therapy to children, adolescents, adults, families, & couples in the private practice setting. I have extensive experience providing services to patients of high risk populations in outpatient & inpatient settings. My experience varies greatly from treating patients dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, attention issues, grief & loss, adjustment issues, phase of life difficulties, & crisis management. I tend to thrive in environments conducive to treating patients through a treatment team approach; with years of experience working in conjunction with case managers, psychiatrists, school staff, hospital staff, & other support staff. My treatment philosophy is influenced by my belief in the importance of treating patients through a systemic perspective. While much of my therapy is derived from a Cognitive Behavioral approach, I am skilled in assessing the needs of my patients & demonstrate flexibility in providing interventions & strategies best suited for each individual. I believe in addressing all of the patients' functional deficits & providing them with the coping skills to live a more satisfying & healthy life.
