Since 1996, I have been in the land surveying field. Assisting a crew chief in various types of surveying, including but not limited to; Topo, lot and block, metes and bounds, construction layout, elevation certifications, wetland, mortgage, section, boundary, airport, fdot 660, military base...etc
I can follow instructions well, work well with others, and handle stressful situations, and trouble shoot. I take the initiative on the job site, and conduct myself in a professional manor. During my time in land surveying. I have worked on NAS, Pensacola airport, cross sectioning the runway. I have been badged for survey work at; Pensacola airport, Hurlburt field, NAS, Solutia, Gulf power plant, and international paper.
Responsibilities included: Finding property corners, setting up traverse, measuring homes and other site improvements, collecting data, and helping crew chief with checking the boundary, and reading legal descriptions.
Instrument man/fill in crew chief. Job duties included: operating total stations with Sokkia data collectors, and rangers. Worked at Hurlburt field locating underground utilities, buildings, and parking lots. Also worked on Pensacola airport. profiling the old runway.
