Developed and conducted an independent study to examine water quality in relation to primary land-use of the Santa Maria River, Veraguas, Panama, using macroinvertebrates as indicators.
Assessed site specific water quality, flow, and primary land-use using Global Land Cover and Land Use overlays in GIS.
Created a detailed scientific report to be used as a comparison for future water quality analysis of the Santa Maria River.
