  • On November 1, 2018, observed for 2 hours at MHCC dental clinic and assigned to observe Olga, a second-year student at MHCC dental program. Asked questions about MHCC dental program experience, the dental instruments, techniques, and cleaning that she was doing on her patient.

  • On January 23, 2019, observed the full day for 10 hours at Willamette Dental Group Gresham. Learned about X-rays, fluoride, interact with the patients, was able to ask questions, and observe RDH, Alexander Cox.
  • On January 26, 2019, observed for 5 hours at Willamette Dental Group Jefferson. Learned how to interact with children, interact with the patients, was able to ask questions, and observe RDH, Olga.
  • On January 29, 2019, observed for 3 hours at Pacific University Dental Clinic. Learned from a second-year student at Pacific about her enrollment and experiences at Pacific. Observed a deep cleaning, was able to ask questions, and interact with the patient.
  • On January 31, 2019, observed for 3.5 hours at Willamette Dental Group Lents. Learned about nitrous oxide, cleaning techniques, was able to ask questions and observe RDH, Karen Waters.
