Hi, my name is Makayla Ouellette.
I'am a very hard working person, I am a fast learner and very good multitasker. I'm always looking to learn new things and have new experiences. I would not let you down as I am a confident worker, easily taught, punctual, sociable with my peers, willing to help, drivin and I love to work. The Osprey restaurant was a seasonal position, I was a hostess/server for 2 seasons. My duties included:
*Opening the restaurant I would vacuum the floors, take all the chairs down, wash all the tables, set out the silverware, wipe down the bars and hostess station out front as well as in the kitchen
*Check the condiments/beverages/and see what needed to restocked
*After doing the above duties I would make a restock list for myself as well as the waitress on duty
* After restock had been put away I would check the reservation book fill out what needed to be done, check voicemails, make sure silverware was folded and begin my shift
*Before I would leave I would fold silverware and check to make sure I had done all my duties or if anyone needed help
At Sunnybrook village I had a variety of duties. My position was Dietary Aid/server so my main priorities were serving the residents there meals. My duties included:
*Opening or closing the kitchen
*Setting up trays for residents who ate in there room
*Setting up the dining room for people who came down to eat
*I would take there orders and then tell the cook
*While serving I would also be doing the dishes and putting them away while also keeping the kitchen clean
* I would reset and clean the tables as they left
*After they would leave I would shut down the dining vacuum/wipe everything down and do my side work for the day
*Once done with the kitchen and dining room I would do a restock list for the kitchen and storage
*I would bring it upstairs put it away and repeat for all 3 meals
*After a dinner shift I would do my assigned duties which would range from sweeping/washing the floors, cleaning off the counters,doing dishes, taking out the trash or resetting the dining room and cleaning off the breakfast bar
*After everything was done I would close down the kitchen
Artforms was a great production job, I did quality control for shirts, pants, bags, and sweatshirts. Unfortunately I had an allergic reaction to a chemical that was used in a certain product which led to me needing to leave. My duties included:
*Quality checking the items
* I would make sure the logo/colors were right that were being printed
*After checked I would give an "okay" and the printing would begin. I would be receiving the items on one end and make sure there were no holes, no pin holes, no loose strings hanging, and the shirt was in good condition itself
*If the shirts were good i would then fold in piles depending on how big the order which ranged from 24-400 items an order
*After completed I would fill out my work order form sheet, scan it out, pack it up and ship it off
