Hardworking Stylist with pleasant personality and passion for precision cuts and creative color. Excellent knowledge of current trends and techniques, treatments and salon retail products. Dedicated to delivering superior service to build client loyalty and create positive and empowering client experiences.
Experienced in handling high-volume customer needs, quickly assessing each customer and offering on-trend recommendations. Skilled at cutting hair and recommending optimal products to drive revenue. Diligent about keeping records accurate and schedules organized.
Dedicated Stylist with 21 years of experience helping customers accomplish specific styles.
Between 2011-2020 I have volunteered my time to help a local organization the F.C.S.A (Fairfield Conservation and Sportsmen Association) Children and Disabled Americans Fund with their annual event. This is a non profit organization that hosts an annual benefit dinner to help support a family in town with a sick child. My role was to organize a team to help coordinate the tricky tray portion of the night, organize ticket sales, collect and record payment of ticket sales, communicate with the vendors, coordinate meetings with vendors and committees, book the event at a reception hall and organize seating, gather volunteers to help solicit to local businesses for donations, collect donations, keep record of donations, label and group gifts according to value, coordinate set up the day of, set up the event, and work the check in table.
I saw the potential to raise more money for the families based on the lack of experience from the club with their tricky tray events. Prior to volunteering for the F.C.S.A, I had no experience running a tricky tray. I have only ever attended them in the past. I jumped in and helped grow the event from 100 guests to 500 guests this past February. We raised over $21,000 for the last family and it was their biggest event yet.
I also volunteered the past 2 years during wrestling season to help with the concession stands and I was also in charge of apparel design and sales for the team. I organized designs with the vendor and was in charge of communications to the parents regarding their orders and distributed the items. I try to help people where I can. I respectfully follow direction from others as well as be in charge if needed.
During my time away from the salon, I have maintained a clientele at home. I became certified during that time with Magic Sleek, which is a keratin like, relaxer hybrid. I continue educating myself for new trends and techniques via social media groups that I belong to and frequently reach out to for support and I also visit hair shows in NY when I can.
