Progress my career to the maximum possible extent within the oil industry. Utilize my varied knowledge and experience gained over the past 16 years within different groups and geographical locations of an Oilfield Service Company to contribute and develop within an Operating Company. My primary professional strength is "Out of the Box" thinking and a holistic approach to the challenges at hand. Within Baker Hughes, I have completed many projects ranging from highly operations heavy as starting up and managing multi-rig field operations to highly technical ones such as Applications Engineering and Failure analysis As the lone MWD coordinator in India and no experienced MWD Field Service Engineers in the country, was responsible for starting up and successfully running MWD jobs on five concurrent rigs successfully until the end of the operator's campaign. The jobs included triple combo on two rigs. In the process I successfully oversaw development of a group of local MWD FSEs to run these jobs. In Technical management and team lead roles, I actively organized and lead teams, and successfully designed, recommended and implemented Drilling and Evaluations Solutions/ Corrective actions which has resulted in, Drilling Optimization and Reduction of Non Productive Time to the Operators. Enhanced reliability of INTEQ's tools in tough drilling conditions. Reduction of Operations Out of Specifications As a Global Account Manager I developed business skills to identify and recognize customer needs and work with BHI's internal groups to address these needs thus enhancing BHI's revenue and market share. Also working as a Global Account Manager and engaging with the clients on a regular basis has helped me in looking at the business from an Operating company's perspective also. Excellent interpersonal skills: Having lived in three continents and worked both on the rigs and in office atmosphere with people from various nationalities has helped me break cultural and language barriers and I see this has one of my very strong points. Recognition of D&E market needs within the industry and ability to address applications specific answers. Knowledgeable to the extent of making Technical Presentations on most of Baker Hughes Drilling Services offerings. Very good presentation skills. Capable of putting together and delivering presentations - both Technical and Non Technical to suit the audience. Networking and the ability to tap the right resources from within the company to complete challenging projects Adaptability and ability to learn "On the Fly". Have proved this time and again by taking up challenging projects on subjects which I had minimal experience with and successfully completed them. Geographical versatility: Have lived in three continents and worked in over 15 countries. Also have worked on rig sites in extremes of climatic conditions varying from extreme mid winter cold in Prudhoe Bay fields, Alaska, USA to extreme mid summer heat in the Lakhwair fields, Oman.
