First year Biochemistry and Cell Biology Major at University of California, San Diego. Participated in numerous volunteer opportunities throughout high school. Worked 6 hours for 5 days a week under the guidance of Dr. Reid Danielsen. Helped clean cages, treatment rooms and observation rooms. Observed surgeries and assisted the technicians and doctors in any help needed.
Co-directed the Environmental Club in school and participated in numerous outreach programs in the community of Abu Dhabi. Started a School Garden to help promote healthy lifestyles amongst students by growing organic vegetables and fruits and selling them in a local farmer's market organized by students. This garden also helped increase the awareness of pollination and support the bee population.
Organized a seminar for students to immerse themselves in the deaf community and learn the basics of American Sign Language and the culture it has built.
Assistant to professionals at the Cornell Bee Lab. Helped clean equipment and assist in the process of collection of honey while learning about bee population and their survival.
