I am a native Houstonian born in 1962 at Spring Branch Hospital, Houston, TX. I put myself through college while working as a residential and commercial appraiser. I have been a Real Estate Appraiser and Agent/Broker for nearly 30 years in the Houston area. My mother is a Real Estate Broker in the Houston and surrounding area and my father was a builder in the Houston and surrounding area. I helped my mother with Real Estate and at the age of 10, my father had me on the job site every summer until I graduated high school. I have watched Houston grow and expand into areas we used to hunt and fish. All of which contributed to my knowledge of Real Estate. I paid 100% of my own college. After graduation, I worked for a few appraisal companies and then started Tim Beisert & Co. in The Woodlands, Texas and eventually built EDI Appraisals, Inc... Additional Information I am looking to transition to a full time job with vacation and benefits after running an appraisal business working all night and weekends. I have become proficient in minor computer hardware repair and installation and software out of necessity. I have had to learn new software and computer repair due to making deadlines at all cost. I am known as the appraiser with six monitors. I was the first appraiser in the Houston area to deliver appraisals by internet. It was so ahead of everyone, some clients I had to buy them a printer and ink as they complained increased cost. Some even had to get approval for internet delivery. The name of my company, EDI Appraisals, meant Electronic Data Interchange Appraisals. Shortly after that everyone recognized the small e as internet provided. As a result I should have changed the company name to e Appraisals. I am currently a staff appraiser with Brubaker and Associates, Inc.
Inshore and offshore saltwater fishing is my passion.
