Responsible for coordinating all aspects of local and national production project management including concept development, hiring crews and talent; booking locations; conducting interviews; supervising field and studio production shoots/edit sessions and working with clients on the distribution of their project. Operates teleprompter, records voice-overs and does on-camera and promotional work. Coordinates fashion show productions and models in fashion shows for local designers and organizations.
Supervised the daily running of the Technical Operations Department; rostered the Technical Operations staff and freelancers to provide staffing to the News and Programming departments; supervised and guided staff to ensure they developed the skills necessary to carry out their work; reviewed and approved employee timesheets on a bi-weekly basis; acted as the primary point of contact for the Technical Operations and News staff to provide a one-stop solution to their daily needs; worked with the Engineering department to ensure that the staff in house and in the field had the appropriate and necessary equipment to carry out their duties in a timely and professional manner; generated financial reports to track projected and actual overtime costs; recruited and interviewed freelance staff as required; worked closely with HR to ensure freelancers completed the relevant paperwork for hiring/invoicing and reviewed/signed off on freelancer invoices.
