My passion is habitat restoration, my experience is as a field biologist with some data analysis, and my drive is to be more involved in management and policy to make a difference. I am quick to learn, capable of detailed research, loyal and experienced with tribal communities I am also able to think critically to come up with solutions in an adaptive management environment.
Assisted in the drafting of master plans for fall/summer Chinook and coho in the Yakima Basin. I have been involved in working groups to enhance steelhead and Bull Trout abundance and habitat. I have also been part of a program to recondition steelhead kelts and have submitted an article analyzing this project to AFS.
I supervised the planing and execution of salmon habitat enhancement projects as well as installed beaver deceivers to alleviate the ponding effects without removal.
