Hi, my name is Peyton Manley and I would LOVE to be a part of your team! I would be ecstatic to fill a substitute teaching position, this fall I will be going into the elementary education program at UNF. I have wanted to teach elementary school since I was in elementary school myself. My passion is helping and loving children, it is all I have ever wanted to do and after looking into the Montessori school system it seems like the perfect fit for me.
I would love to start getting hands on teaching experience at your school, it would be a dream come true. I do not have any teaching experience in schools but I have to start somewhere. I am passionate about teaching, it is not just a Job for me, it's a love. Everything I do in the classroom, I will try my very best to do out of love. This is not just a Substitute teaching job for me it is the next step to teaching my own classroom one day. Each classroom I step into I will treat them, love them, and teach them as if it were my students. If I have the right training I promise I will learn and I will give this job everything I have.
In short, kids are my life and I would love to get experience substituting at your school. I am going to school to be a teacher because it is my dream, kids bring so much joy to my life and my ultimate goal is to do them the same favor and be remembered as a teacher that makes learning exciting and fun and to be the one who cares when they feel like nobody else does.
I worked at the restraint Marker 32 for almost 5 years as a hostess and did all of the following:
. I founded the best buddies organization at fletcher high school and was president for the 2 years I was there. Best Buddies is an international nonprofit organization that creates opportunities for children and adults with intellectual and development disabilities, we also would go once a week to the school Alden Road and hang out with the kids in their after school program. The year that I brought Best Buddies to Fletcher we raised the most money out of any other group or school in Jacksonville.
I also helped run the drama club at Seabreeze elementary school for 3 years, have volunteered at 3 summer camps, I volunteered in the 3rd grade classroom at Beaches Chapel School for a semester, and was the leader for the 4th and 5th grade girls at my church Sunday mornings for 3 years. Currently I lead the 7th grade girls “life group” in the youth group at my church and meet with them twice a week.
